Seattle suffers 100 storefront crashes per year, according to the Seattle Times

This story by Times writer David Kroman is a well-researched study of vehicle-into-building crashes in Seattle. Starting with our data from the Storefront Safety Council and then researching Seattle Fire Department run records, the article shows that a building is struck every 3 or 4 days somewhere in the city, which is the 18th largest in the United States.

Data and research from this article will be used to expand and confirm our own data records, which will increase accuracy and more fully account for storefront crashes. Thank you David for bringing more clarity to this issue.
